Please keep in mind that jGameAdmin is still under heavy development.

Note: English isn't my native language. But you can feel free to send me corrected versions of my posts :)

As you may know, I'm currently doing a big refactoring. It takes me a lot of time and I can't implement any new features while doing this. But once I'm done, it will pay.

I'm also looking for a webmaster that sets up a new website for me. Nothing fancy. Nothing you have to care about later. Just simple pages and a news/commenting/rating feature. Maybe Wordpress? I could do that by myself, but I better spend that time coding. So if you're interested, contact me at michel dot jung at jgameadmin ch.

To keep you up to date better in future, I decided to publish monthly news from now on.

Currently, my job and education takes me a lot of time. I prefer to use the little spare time I have in another way than for jGameAdmin. However, I'm going to have vacation for two weeks soon. I'll devote some of that time to the project.

Currently, I'm doing some heavy work to improve the software's architecture. This ensures quicker and cleaner development in future. But it will also give you a better user experience. The whole software is going to be fully localized. Also, the software's look & feel will be improvement. Stay tuned.

I'm glad to release the first pre-release of jGameAdmin. Please keep in mind that this is a very early version. There are many bugs, many unimplemented features and bad GUIs. It's important to read the howtos and explanations in the wiki. Ohterwise it will be hard for you to get things running. The main reason for this release is to get early feedback from you.

I'm pleased to announce the first release of jGameAdmin - Version 0.1. A year ago it was planned to be just very basic: Installing/starting/stopping servers and creating simple packages. But I always put more features into 0.1 and it was going to be a never ending story. That's why I've decided to put off all the features not needed in the very first version to 0.2.

Release 0.1 won't be a very usable, nor very stable. But it'll give you an idea of how it works, and you can already start giving feedback.

So go on and mark the 2010-10-01 in your calendar!
